How We Check for Body Imbalance
Body imbalance is ascertained by checking a person for standing bilateral weight differences, standing pelvic disparity, as well as leg length disparity. A close visual inspection of the patient can reveal the presence of body imbalance.
Differing leg lengths are almost always a telling symptom in detecting Body Imbalance. This is because Body Imbalance is always related to a misaligned Atlas, or C1 vertebrae. This is the topmost vertebrae on the spinal cord, and located right by the base of the brain stem, one of the most critical areas of the brain. A misaligned Atlas throws off leg length and distorts the entire body. The skull and the other vertebrae rotate and tip to compensate for rotation and tip in the Atlas vertebrae. The head weighs between 8 and l4 pounds. If it is not sitting straight on top of the spine, the muscles of the body must do something to counteract this bowling ball hanging off to the side. If the muscles on one side of the spine are tighter than those on the other, then the pelvis is pulled up on that side, thus "shortening" that leg.
